To another nations… why those religions have to spread their beliefs and to tell everybody we have to believe in their God.. why the egyptian gods or any kind of gods are not true?.. why we have to believe in the God from the Middle east? if the God from middle east created the World? why didnt tell the other…
There are many other cultures that have tales of direct contact with God or gods. The Hindus in India (read the Gitas). Native Americans have the White Buffalo woman which from the tales I have read was their prophet like Jesus. Certainly the Greek and Roman religions had stories of direct contact with the gods.
because it was a regional belief, and people in close proximity usually go along with everyone else as to not be an outcast. religions started out only in certain parts of the world because thousands of years ago word did not travel that easily and thats why people in asian areas did not hear about the middle eastern god. later when travel was faster and people could move far distances with ease the word traveled.
a person who believes in god can tell someone who believes in an eastern religion that they are wrong and that there is 2000 years of proof, where a person that believe an eastern religion can say, wow great, but the beliefs i have are 4000 years old, so you are wrong.
a true all powerful god would have told everyone, not just a select few, the idea of that is ludicrous. kind of like in midieval
times kings said they were meant to be king because they were the “chosen ones”
You have to dance with history a little more to understand some of the answers to those questions. I will tell you this though. Before the flood much water was underneath the earth’s surface. There was probably one big continent with hills. Not many mountains. Men travelled all over the earth. But after the flood only 8 people survived. So civilization started over from the same area. Cultures all over the world have a legend of a great flood that destryed all life on earth except one family and their animals. People all over the world are looking for truth. God wants them to know that truth. So people inquire about other’s beliefs. Don’t be disheartened that people call that truth God. Jesus said,’I am the way, the truth, and the life’. I invite you to be patient and read the bible and see if it explains some of your questions.
Well, Adam as the first man and his generations were monotheists, they were few around the center of the world overthere. The belief in one god, the creator, is deeply implanted in the hearts of all people and sustained by the mind reflections on the creations, and guided by the messengers. Whenever the generations go astray, God send a messenger unto them to reform the belief and conduct. Population density according to the fertile productive land, is around the midlle east, so happened many messengers, but not all, were sent in that region. So, some of the messengers were in Yemen, arabian peninsula, Iraq and Egypt besides Lebanon, Syria and Jerusalem; which doesn’t mean others at then had no messengers: ” And verily, We have sent among every community( nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): “Worship Allâh and avoid all false deities….” 36, 16, holy Quran. All that was sealed by Quran as the final word of God which includes the guidance for ever and of so many renewable miracles proving itself.
Because that is the area that
the Father told Abraham to
go to and become a Godly
nation. Hence Israelites
became Jews. Don’t go nuts
now,but the Arabs are the
decendents of Abraham also.
They are cousins really,
Jesus was born in “due time”
and he was born to overcome
hell/death/and the grave.
He was both Divine and human. He was and is
able to remove all sin from any person and bring them
into proper relationship with
God the Father.
These are heavy-duty truths
that are hard to be understood
in this limited forum.
Because from the one the other two were born of. As to the fact that Egyptian gods or other gods have fallen to the way side could be the evolution of understanding …something that seems to still be going on.
God did tell all—- I AM and there is none beside me.
Cause that’s originally roughly where the world started, and it would spread just like the people. And even if God did shoe himself in some way to us, we’d go trying to explain it away with science or something
God chose to reveal himself to only one people, and those people were to be a light to the rest of the world. Haven’t you ever read in the bible, “first to the jew, then to the gentile”? Salvation was given to the jews first, and then they spread the gospel message to the rest of the world. (The jews that decided to believe in Jesus, that is.)
You’ve heard of the God of Abraham, no? Then those jews did their job, and God has indeed revealed himself to the whole world.
i think too many people have decided on what god is to be sure ..men write the bibles of their own religion thus it gets distorted by time there is no real way to tell other wise so it is up to each person to go with what they believe in
God sent a messenger to every nation :
To every people (was sent) an apostle: when their apostle comes (before them), the matter will be judged between them with justice, and they will not be wronged.
They say: “When will this promise come to pass,- if ye speak the truth?”
Say: “I have no power over any harm or profit to myself except as Allah willeth. To every people is a term appointed: when their term is reached, not an hour can they cause delay, nor (an hour) can they advance (it in anticipation).”
(Quran Translation 10:47-49)
