Forrest Gump… It has everything (comedy, drama, sentiment, etc.)… and it is so clever….
All those are great examples of really good 80’s Sci-Fi, but My all time favourite has to be Terminator 2 (early 90’s), its just about the coolest Sci-Fi movie around! more of an action adventure, with some serious dark drama and LOL comedy moments.
SCARFACE, because it articulates a period of time, a period of violence throughout Miami, and if you take a closer look at the plot you will find that the story has the same structure that of would Shakesphere would have written, e.g violence, love, betrayal, and a woeful ending, and AL Pacino is my favorite actor
Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Not only was this the first film to combine live action with animation, it’s hilarious, it boasts an excellent cast, and it has great set design.
Too many to choose from but Heathers and Silence of the Lambs are among my faves because of the cast, script and acting
Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead
Honey I Blew Up the Kid
The Lost Boys
If it’s on, I have to watch it.
